Hi Michael, your -200mV measurement jolted my memory regarding the Exclusion Zone (EZ) water Gerald Pollack and others have been studying. -200mV was about the maximum they got when measuring the voltage of EZ water near different hydrophilic surfaces, but that was with micro-electrodes and a distance of around a millimeter or less. It's interesting that humans and trees had the same -200mV measurement, but I'm not sure how scale plays into these findings if anyone has ideas. It'll be interesting to see results in the summer, when the ground may be much drier than it is now.
I wondered the same - if we could just be looking at the effects of EZ water. Do you recall if the EZ voltage fluctuated? I think it was a function of IR light intensity.
Well, they did an experiment that showed a small current across the EZ and bulk water that decayed exponentially with time, but the current never actually reached zero after an extended period of time (over 8 minutes). Yeah, the IR light intensity increases the size of the EZ (and presumably the voltage, that could be another experiment). That experiment was in a lab, out in nature the IR light from the sun is much more intense and available, comparatively. It would be interesting to see tree voltage measurements taken periodically over the course of a whole day and night.
Right on Michael. we live on a small farm on the west slope of the Sierra Nevada Range. i spend as much time barefoot in the garden as possible. At 85 i am vigorous and wide awake. of course we are drinking good water and eating real food and our air is good more than half the time. Another benefit of grounding is that feet are unconfined and flexible. so ii have excellent balance. i used to wear expensive "lawyer loafers" and worked in tall buildings under high stress. needless to say, i'm much healthier now! Nicer too, i'm told..
At the other end of the body, wear a hat. Get active for awhile then close your eyes directing your attention to your head and take the hat off. i experience a rush of energy when i do that... A release. I love your mind Brother
It would be so interesting to know empirically what we’re giving up by not being “grounded” because of shoes and boots. For my part, the nostalgia from every time I went barefoot in a newly plowed field, or sunk my toes into wet sand at the beach is enough to draw me back again! Was it the novelty of basic sensations, or electrical “connection” with Mother Earth that put a smile on my face and etched a memory directly to my heart?

this time of year is a good time to go out and plant the vegetables. Will be doing that.

What about aluminum ski poles with grounding tape on the handles, and bare aluminum tips?
My husband and son and I will do this experiment this weekend!
